Apart from its warm waters, these destinations also send a pulse of the Latino culture, good food, dancing and a wonderful nightlife that will undoubtedly arouse the curiosity of tourists from all walks of life. Corcovado National Park Costa Rica – The Great Biological Place On Earth

Located on the south Pacific of Costa Rica on the shores of the Osa Peninsula, near the border with Panama, you will find the Parque Nacional Corcovado (Corcovado National Park). This is a unique habitat protected and is the largest surviving forest on the Pacific coast from Mexico to South America. There are eight different habitats within the 42,000 hectares (100,000 acres), representing a small national park, which is still largely untouched. Even tiny, it is unique. Literally.

Most tourists do not realize that Costa Rica is named after Christopher Columbus, who explored South America in 1502. He sailed in the Caribbean from Mexico to the south, landed south of what is now Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and called his discovery “Costa Rica” or “rich coast”. We can only imagine what he saw along the way. Spectacular tropical forests, which cover America from the Atlantic to the Pacific. water fish, porpoises and whales. So many turtles that the sailors lost in the fog made the shore just listening to the sound of thousands of animals against pallet nesting beaches.

Unfortunately, over five centuries, was not beautiful, either in the forest or the animals, and today most of the forests from Mexico to South America have been slaughtered and burned. Fortunately, in Costa Rica was the good sense to keep Corcovado and its primary rainforest.
